Mommy Lhey Designs Double Feature
Good Morning Creatives!
Something super cool happened recently.
I was having lunch with my little at school when one of her friend’s moms asks the question I get a lot: So…what do you do exactly?
I gave my standard answer of “Well…I do freelance design work in the paper crafting and mixed media industry.”
And to my surprise she answers…. “Oh really? I own a planner and scrapbooking company called Mommy Lhey Designs and I used to design with Prima.”
WHAT?!?!?!?!?!
First of all…most people don’t even understand what I mean when I say what I do.
Secondly…someone who kind of does the same thing.
Crazy, huh?
I heard the song “It’s a Small World” going through my head as we talked about what she did and what I do.
A few days later, she sent me a yummy little box of Mommy Lhey goodies.
Oh YouTUBE…where have you been?
Due to some technical difficulties, I haven’t been able to do a video for my YouTube channel for a while. Thanks to my hubby for my buying me a new webcam and some backup storage (hello 4TB of storage!) I was finally able to a make a new video.
I thought it would be fun to do an “unboxing” video and then use the things I just unboxed to create something.
Ready for my close-up

Bonus Project!!

Here’s what I came up with:
