Seriously?
Don’t we all have those days when someone needs to grab you by the face, look you eye to eye and say “Seriously…it will all work out.”
Today, I am sharing a recent card I made for Butterbee Scraps.
I LOVED making this card because I got to use one of my favorite products: Design Master Tint It. What makes this different from regular “spray paint?” It’s not paint! It’s a sprayable dye! It dries super fast and leaves a transparent color that doesn’t hide the details of the object underneath. Add a light layer for a hint of color or lots of layers for a deeper color.
How fun, right?!
For this card, I sprayed my “Alice” Dollie, Small, Medium and Large Gears, and Bronze Oval Metal Filigree using Strawberry, Teal and Gold.
To make my card background, I used Liquitext Modeling Paste and my The Crafter’s Workshop “Sequin Waste” Bit.
I used a kraft card base from The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby.)
To make my words stand out under my cabochon, I added some white acrylic paint to my setting that I had sprayed with Strawberry Tint It.
Here is a closeup of the finished grouping of gears and dollies.
I added a little sneaky gear hiding under the tag:
I hope you enjoyed today’s card…I did a card! I never do cards! LOL!
See below for a full list of supplies.
Have a great day!
XOXO,
Keri
