I’m back … with a Sugar Skull

Hello Creatives!

I’m back! I decided to take a blogging break to focus on creative things, but now I’m back and what better way to jump back in, but with a SUGAR SKULL!

Another Collaboration

If you’ve followed me over 2017, you will know that I have done a few collaborations with other artists, where we start with the same theme and each express ourselves however we see fit.

This time, we decided to focus on El Dia Del Los Muertos or The Day of the Dead. It is a time in Latin cultures where they honor those who have passed. It is known for bright colors, combined with skeletons.

If you follow me at all on social media, you know that I LOVE sugar skulls. There is just something so amazing about the opposition of the beautiful layers of colors and designs on top of the usual morbid image of a skull.

My take on a Sugar Skull

I’ve done many sugar skulls over the years, but this time I wanted to do things a little differently.

As I started working, I realized that I ended up with kind of a Pirate themed Sugar Skull…and I LOVE IT!! The more bling the better right?

Here are a few more pics!
