Mixed Media ATC House
Good Morning Creatives!
This week was my day on The Crafter’s Workshop blog.
If you’ve been following me, you know that I am working on pulling out all those unfinished project, looking at them with new eyes and finishing them (finally!)
One thing I found was a house I had started all the way back in November.
I was working on a set of ATCs (artistic trading cards) for The Crafter’s Workshop (you can see that post here: ATC Fun with TCW) and I decided I wanted to make a place to keep them…so what better place than a HOUSE! LOL.
I started with this blank paper mache house from Hobby Lobby:
I wanted to do something fun and bright…almost like a 3-D coloring book style.
Here’s a sneak peek:
I use my favorite DecoArt Americana Acrylic Paints, Dazzling Metallics and DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylics.
I wanted it to be messy and bright and fun and I think I succeeded!
For this project I used 5 TCW Stencils (All 6×6 sizes):
AND
TCW527S-Word Association
TCW586S-Raven Mosaic
TCW623S-Life Words
TCW595S-Tied Pebbles
TCW554S-Butterfly Collage
