July Butterbee Scraps Projects

Hello Creatives!

Since I was away for part of July, I didn’t get a chance to show you my July projects for Butterbee Scraps!

Altered “K”

My first project was an altered letter “K’ that I had received from my mother-in-law.

I LOVE Testors CreateFX Texture Spray in Sand. It dried fast and created an amazing texture. It also adhered really well to the surface of my letter.

To finish it off, I add loads of vintage 7Gypsies Butterfly Rubons (I miss rubons…companies need to start making them again!), Butterbee Scraps Metal Goodies and a chipboard quote from Basic Grey.

Here are some finished pics.

Just look at that YUMMY sand texture. I like the way my Butterbee Scraps Metals compliment my sand texture.

“I am Yours” Pendant

My other July project for Butterbee Scraps featured a vintage inspire pendent.

If you’ve followed my blog, you’ve seen that another team and I recently did a blog hop with ETI, a manufacturer of professional quality jewelry resin.

When I was making that project, I had extra resin ready to use so I thought…OOOO…. I can make more!! LOL

Here is what I came up with:

I’m always wanting to make things easier for everyone, so here is a little tip for when you are making things like this:

Canvas Corp Butterbee Scraps

Using an ink pad, “stamp” you bezel onto your background surface. This gives you a guide and an approximate shape to cut your background from. Cut just inside the lines and then dry fit into your surface. Trim as needed. Doing this saves you a lot of time, mistakes and materials.

For more info about the Butterbee Scraps materials I used, check it out here: “I am Your’s Pendant”

I hope you enjoyed these projects today and you will take a moment to hop over to the Butterbee Scraps Blog and leave Monique (the owner) some love (and of course…check out the store too!!!!!)

Until Next time…

XOXO,

KERI
