Butterbee Scraps: Thinking Warm thoughts!

Good Morning Creatives!

Oh. My. Word.

It is ssssoooo cold here in Arkansas. It was 13 degrees this morning when just last week it was 75. #stupidarkansasweather LOL

Since I can’t move to another state, I decided to boycott this cold weather by having some fun with warm, tropical colors in my studio today.

How to…

Here are  a few steps of how I made my project:

Vintage Chipboard
I started with a plain vintage chipboard I found in my stash.
I used my Gel Press plate and some The Crafter’s Workshop Stencils to add layers to my chipboard.

Amy Tangerine’s “Sketchbook” is one of my favorite older lines, so I used it to fill in the back of my chipboard and then to mount my project.

Finishing Touches

To finish my project, I added so splashes of Dr Martin Ink in Fuchsia, Deco Art Mister in Orange and White.

I had fun playing with all my Butterbee Scraps goodies until I was happy with the way it looked.
